Greetings Millennial Nation,
“JesusFreaks,”(JF) has been enjoying great exposure and good momentum these last several weeks. I am very pleased with where “JesusFreaks,” is positioned!
ASLAN is on the move and its exciting to partner with Him.
Where we stand now is by the grace of God and the culmination of years of sowing and sacrifice and never quitting despite the struggle.
Through it all, God has been Faithful.
The latest breakthroughs-
Beginning in 2013 JF will be seen on television world-wide through three different outlets. In the last several months agreements were solidified with; Heritage(AUS), ERF(GER), and TBN/JCTV(US&International).
With these three platforms secured, I’m excited JF is positioned where it can be seen by the masses.
Furthermore, we were notified last month that, “JesusFreaks,” is an “Official Selection” of The Attic Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Then last week notified by Attic F.F. that “JesusFreaks,” won an accolade for,”Best Documentary!”
Our partnership with YWAM-Denver continues to bear fruit and I thank God daily for their support.
In late February I travelled out to Southern California to promote the upcoming broadcast of JF on TBN/JCTV.
Andrew Farland was the gentleman that accompanied me to L.A. for the TBN/JCTV “JesusFreaks,” interview.
Andrew has been at YWAM-Denver for the past several years; he has been the YWAM-Denver Mobile Team leader for the past 2 summers and has distributed “JesusFreaks” all across America.
This summer he is using “JesusFreaks,” as one of the tools to reach the lost and share about YWAM and specifically YWAM-Denver on his tour called, “Dare to Dream.”
YWAM-Denver and Circle of Belief Productions are both locking shields with his tour, “Dare to Dream.” On finishing his tour Andrew is going to Uganda, Africa long term to pioneer and pastor a church.
These are the broadcast dates & time for JesusFreaks on JCTV is as follows:
Friday 4/5 @ 7pm PT
Sat 4/6 @3pm PT
Friday 4/26 @3am & 7pm PT
Sat 4/27 @ 3pm PT
The link below is of the JesusFreaks TBN interview… If you would like to go strait to the JF interview on the link go to time code 9:45-

The TBN interview was first taped then two weeks later broadcast…during the broadcast, a gentleman called YWAM-Denver wanting to do a DTS.
Guess who was answering the phone? Andrew Farland the person the caller was watching on TV being interviewed.
During the interview I found myself humbled and grateful for how God moved through Peter and Linda Warren and their staff at YWAM-Denver to make a radical difference in my life and the lives of so many others through the years.
So many lives have been impacted by the gospel because of what YWAM accomplishes through young people who decide to take that step of faith and go on a 5 month YWAM DTS journey “To know God and make Him known.”
You can see the fruit of Linda and Peter Warren’s (YWAM Denver’s directors) their decades long obedience to the Lord here: www.ywamdenver.org, www.Jesusfreaksmovie.com and on Andrew’s website at ImpactAfricanow.com
Additional breakthroughs…We have just been offered 2 distribution deals-
One offer is to make a presence in the Christian retail market; placing JF dvd’s in the CBA(Christian Booksellers of America) stores nation-wide. The other opportunity is a secular play for Videos on Demand whereby a customer can download and purchase “JesusFreaks,” directly online. I have not been given a contract it is only talk but each player is saying the right things and the negotiation is progressing.
The timing is right for these two distribution outlets to have them coincide with the TV broadcasts.
Please join in prayer with me…believing and interceding that the launch of JF in 2013 will be all God intends it to be!
JesusFreaks’ second wave is going to hit in 2013…I believe it will be much bigger then anything we have seen so far during this JF journey.
Thank you for standing with us!

I had the pleasure of attending the San Diego Christian Film Festival(SDCFF). JesusFreaks(JF) was an official selection and recognized as one of the top three films in the U.S. Feature Documentary category. We were honored to be apart of SDCFF and I have to say that many of the films screened were well produced and well received by the audiences in attendance at SDCFF. A few films that come to mind that I would recommend to anyone were “Rust,” “Lifted,” and “Lost Boy,” these three really stood out in my mind as God inspired-outstanding films. We were in good company and Christian films are improving and are finally beginning to have the production qualities to compete with our secular counterparts in the film industry. It is imperative that Christian stuff stand out to the secular world as being first-class and not cheesy or b-rate-SDCFF and the films that were recognized is a step in that direction.
At SDCFF there was an awesome round table on Thursday Dec.30th, the film industry insiders on hand, Corbin Bernson: Actor “Psych,” “L.A. Law,”; independent film maker-”Rust.” Mr Simon Swart: G.M. and E.V.P., Fox Home Entertainment…Ken Wales: a Hollywood veteran; producer of “Amazing Grace.” Mark Clayman: Executive Producer, hit movie, “the Pursuit of Happyness,” staring Will Smith. The insight and depth of knowledge these believers offered was awesome and again and again no matter how important they were each said, “it is all a God thing that I’m in this position!” All encouraged the independent film maker to keep making great movies, stories of faith that needed to be told, and doing it in a professional thought provoking manner so that the world can see that Christians can produce good quality films to compete with the secular market…”Story is King, Content is King,” “Bring the audience to a place they never thought existed, Give them something they have never seen before,”-the advice and encouragement from these men was awesome.
I want to thank the Director of SDCFF Richard Bagdazin and his V.P. Mrs. Mishe Harvey and their whole team in doing an outstanding job. I could not believe it was the First annual because everything about it made me feel like this wasn’t their first rodeo. The warm reception when I first arrived, the celebrated hosting I felt throughout and the encouragement as an independent Christian Film maker, being told many times how much they enjoyed “JesusFreaks,” and SDCFF wanted to do all that they could to help our film get the next level of exposure and their belief that JF needed be told to the masses-it was great encouragement…Like I shared with the staff of SDCFF-Great job and thank you guys for allowing us to be apart of it-to be apart of the SDCFF-truly was an honor.
The making and producing of faith-based films is a mission field. Faith-base films can be a tool for missionaries to use to lead people to ask the bigger questions of our existence, Is there a God? God wants relationship with people and what does that look like? God is Love and show what that may looks like on film? Lead the viewer to ask the question, God are you real? and if so make yourself known to me?-if that prayer is offered up- He will make Himself known!!! I’m a missionary in that i want my work to lead people to ask the bigger questions in life and God will do the rest…
“Lord help me to be an instrument of your peace,” St. Francis. As a film maker is one sphere or realm of influence where we can be an instrument of God’s peace.
